Valentine’s Day Weekend Activities at the Lion Habitat Ranch

From Saturday, February 17th to Sunday, February 18th, from 11am to 3pm, last admission 2pm, we will be having Valentine’s Day themed activities during our normal general admission time slots all weekend. Come out and have a Valentine’s double date with Ozzie the giraffe and his friends here at the Lion Habitat Ranch!

– Our animals will receive some Valentine’s Day 
themed enrichment!
– There will be a scavenger hunt for everyone to learn unique facts about animal hearts
– We will have areas around the property with decorations for photo opportunities.
– We may have an additional surprise over this weekend as well

Can’t join us for the festivities? This Valentine’s Day you can share your loved one, best friend, ex, or anyone you think is a total snack with our animals! Even make yourself a snack! It’s easy, just purchase a snack and provide the name you’d like to accompany it and we will feed out your snack in a video on Valentine’s Day! 2023 Annual Yoga GiGong Fundraiser at the Lion Habitat Ranch

On Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th the Lion Habitat Ranch will be hosting the annual Yoga Qi Gong with certified instructors Doc Phineas and Sindi Keene. Check in begins at 2:30pm, and class will promptly start at 3pm both days. This event is for participants 15 or older. Registration fees are non-refundable.
– 1/2 hour of gentle yoga
– 1/2 hour of Qigong (Taught by Celebrity Guest Star Master Teacher Doc Phineas)
– Crystal bowl meditation after gentle yoga
– 30 minutes to explore the Lion Habitat Ranch
Ticket Prices
Early Bird Ticket Options:
*$25 per person when purchased in June and July
*$30 per person when purchased in August
Standard Ticket: $40 per person when purchased September or later
VIP Ticket with 2pm check in (same price always): $100 per person for one day or $150 per person for both days.
VIP tickets include a half an hour Meet & Greet with Doc Phineas from Pawn Stars starting at 2pm. You’ll also be one of the first to park and place your mat.
Attendees are invited to mix and mingle and walk through the Lion Habitat Ranch after the event.

World Giraffe Day 2023 at the Lion Habitat Ranch
Saturday, June 17th through Sunday, June 18th from 10am to 2pm, last admission 1pm, we will be celebrating World Giraffe Day at the Lion Habitat Ranch. 🦒There will be a giraffe mask decorating and a gardening activity at our jeep area at 11am (while supplies last)
🦒Our animals will be receiving some giraffe themed enrichment provided by Ozzie the giraffe.
🦒 Giraffe costume contest at 12pm both days. The winner will receive a prize bag.
🦒We will also be having a scavenger hunt for kids to learn about giraffes

Celebrate the 30 Year Anniversary of Jurassic Park at the Lion Habitat Ranch
Quite a few of our keepers are huge #JurassicPark fans and wanted to share their love of Jurassic Park with our guests! We will be celebrating the 30-year anniversary of Jurassic Park here at the Lion Habitat Ranch on Sunday, June 11th from 10am-2pm, last admission 1pm. You can purchase your tickets online in advance https://lionhabitatranch.org/product/general-admission/ or in our ticket booth on the day of your visit.
– Our animals will receive some Jurassic Park themed enrichment!
– There will be a scavenger hunt for everyone to learn more about the move Jurassic Park. You can pick up your scavenger hunt in our gift shop and once you complete the scavenger hunt you can collect your small prize in our gift shop.
– We will have a Dinosaurs of the Big screen presentation at noon.
– At 1pm you can get a photo with Keeper Megan as Alan Grant and Keeper Alex as Ellie Satler. We may even have a re-enactment of the flare scene with Keeper Megan and Keeper Dana as a dinosaur at that time!
