At this time, we do not have wheelchairs, scooters, wagons, or strollers available for rent.
We are an outdoor facility. We do have shaded, misted, and an indoor gift shop area to get away from the heat for the summer. In the winter we do have portable heaters placed around the property for places to get warm. Please dress appropriately for the weather. We also have some umbrellas available to borrow for your visit. There is no cost to borrow the umbrellas, as long as they are not all out in use by other guests and we just ask to hold an ID until the umbrella is returned.

For the safety of our animals and our guests, we do not allow bikes, skates, skateboards, hoverboards or Segways. Children with disabilities may ride scooters for transportation.
As an outdoor experience we occasionally need to close due to rain. We may need an additional day after a larger rainstorm to recover and clean all the pathways for our customers. We apologize for any inconvenience. Check current weather here.
Absolutely! We have refreshments, snacks, toys, and other merchandise available in our gift shop. As a non-profit all proceeds go directly back into the care of our animals.
We have a Behind the Scenes tour once a day Thursday through Tuesday at 8:30am for our summer hours and 9:30am for our winter hours. The Behind the Scenes tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and gives you access to the ranch before we open to the public. We have a couple of add animal experiences available. A single lion feed is $100, a shared lion feed (two people, one lion) is $150, and our tortoise encounter is $50. During your visit you will be able to watch our tortoise chats, check out one of our bird chats each hour, get your photo in our jeep, and chat with our keepers about all of our animals during your regular general admission visit.
We offer various general admission discounts for locals, seniors, military, fire, police, casino workers (MGM properties, Wynn, M Resort), and college students. Tickets are normally $25 for an adult, and each adult admission includes one child 14 or under for free in addition to all children under the age of 4 with the purchase of adult admission.
At this time we do not offer off site animal programs. We do offer for one of our knowledgeable keepers to go off site talk about what it takes to become a keeper and/or about the Lion Habitat Ranch. Our keeper will also bring some educational biofacts off site with them.
We offer educational field trips from 9am-10am during summer hours and from 10am-11am during winter hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. This is a guided field trip with one of our knowledgeable keepers to learn about our lions, giraffe, parrots, ostriches, emus, and tortoises (dependent on weather). Field trips that come out on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays do have the option to stay after the field trip and explore the ranch more or even bring packed lunches to eat at our picnic tables. Pricing for field trips is $5 per student, and if you would like to add on popsicles for the field trip it would be $6 per student. For every 20 students in the group, 2 adults are included for free. Additional adults are $20 each. Children over the age of 14 are the same price as adults. There is no deposit required when booking field trips, but we do ask if you have to cancel a scheduled date to let us know as soon as possible. In addition to in person field trips, we also have virtual field trips available. We have both pre-recorded and live virtual field trip options. Once you have selected the date and have completed the booking for your virtual field trip, we will reach out to you to finalize the details on time as well as the streaming platform for the virtual field trip. Each adult general admission includes one child 14 or under for free in addition to all children under the age of 4 being free with the purchase of adult admission. Additional children are $8 for locals and $10 for nonlocals.
At the Lion Habitat Ranch, you don’t have to walk for miles. You can experience the full park In less than half a mile! Additionally we have seating throughout the property if you do want to sit down for a bit.
Guests may bring their own food and drinks, although glass items, and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. There are no facilities available for food or cooler storage. We also have drinks and snacks available for sale in our ticket booth and gift shop.
We prefer to limit in-and-outs, but you may return inside as long as you have your wristband on for re-entry.
Our winter hours are from 11am-3pm, last admission 2pm and our summer hours are 10am-2pm, last admission 1pm.
We are open from Thursday through Monday. We are closed to the public Tuesday and Wednesday.
On the day of your visit, remember to dress for the weather, and if you made reservations online please bring the credit card you purchased your tickets with in addition to a government issued ID.
To reduce exposure to secondhand smoke to our guests, animals and staff and ensure a good experience for all guests, smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the ranch. Guests may smoke only in designated areas, which are located more than 25 feet from entry gates. Wristbands will be provided to ensure easy re-entry. Should you observe a guest smoking, please report it to a zoo employee, and we’ll address the situation.
